This winter….I can’t keep myself from working with a white background pallet in combinations with a bright oriental red. I remember sitting in a museum in Thailand back in the early 90″s looking at incredible ancient textile that were painted using this color pallet. I sat soaking it all in and even though at that time I had no idea how to go about using these colors…I knew it would be a possibility in the future. I must have pulled this file…. I am lately passionatly  in love with wire cages and creating components with wire like cages in combination with liquid enamels. ….sgraffitto, wet packing and glass etching solution to get this look. I am teaching this process many times over the winter. I am out and about teaching this year. Tucson is next…… February 1st through the 9. Check out my classes… www.iceresin.com FullSizeRender copy 7
